flying.

i was recently commissioned to do a painting for a dear friend of mine. truth be told the notion terrified me. but... i did it.

i painted to the album "flying" by a man named garth stevenson, whose music was shared with me years ago by a friend who has pushed me to create more than i could ever push myself. so i thought of her. and the paint flew. and i let go. and it was good.

so i called it "flying"... and she liked it.
